Building Information Modeling

Precision Precast Detailing
Manufacturing Construction

Precast construction depends on accurate information at every stage—from structural design and reinforcement layouts to embeds, connections, lifting provisions, piece identification, and erection. VDC Point supports this workflow with precast detailing services tailored to project standards, drawing requirements, and agreed levels of development.

Our team can work from structural drawings, architectural information, engineering details, specifications, approved markups, and existing BIM data. The resulting documentation is organized to make individual precast elements easier to manufacture, inspect, transport, and install.

Technology-Driven Precast Detailing

We use BIM and CAD workflows suited to the project scope: Autodesk Revit for precast modeling and coordination, AutoCAD for detailed drafting, and Navisworks for model review and coordination. Where required, existing BIM, survey information, point clouds, or scan-derived information can be incorporated into the agreed workflow.
